Gunner Brook Fishing Derby for kids 14 and younger, Barre

Gunner Brook Fishing Derby, Saturday, June 3, 2023, for kids age 14 and younger. Registration from 8am – 9am at Lajeunesse Interiors, 103 Plainfield Brook Road, Barre Town. Trout-stocked fishing event with lots of prizes. This annual event is sponsored by Barre Fish and Game Club.

This event is part of the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department’s Children’s Fishing Program, designed to give kids the opportunity for a fun and successful fishing experience. The event is sponsored by a local organization and the Department provides 8 to 10” stocked trout for the kids to test out their angling skills.
